FOR THE RELATIONSHIPS THAT MATTER
A little space
to understand.
However things feel right now,
your perspective belongs here.
Wanting to understand each other is a thoughtful step.
Eight short questions can offer a place to begin, at your own pace.
A free, self-guided check-in tool. Not therapy, counseling, or a professional service.
A SMALL MOMENT. A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE.
“I’m giving advice
because I care.”
“Sometimes I just
want you to listen.”
There’s room for both perspectives.
PARTNERS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS
Who’s on your mind?
You’ll reflect first.
Nothing is sent until you choose to share.
A CHECK-IN, NOT HOMEWORK
A few everyday moments.
Room for both of you.
Whether things feel close, complicated, or somewhere in between, you can explore what everyday moments feel like.

They choose whether to take part. - 03
Explore together, if you choose.
See where your perspectives meet and where they differ. You decide what feels useful.
Choose one small thing to try. Or stop there.
Making space for each other can begin with one small step.
The idea behind Better Between Us
AN INVITATION, NEVER AN OBLIGATION
Your pace matters.
The person answering can skip a question, leave comments blank, or close the page without submitting. They see exactly what will be shared before they finish.
You don’t have to resolve anything today. Taking a pause or choosing not to participate is okay, too.
Understand how privacy works ↗BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A few things
you might wonder.
Will they see what I wrote?
Yes. After both sides submit, both people can see the ratings and comments in the shared report. This isn’t anonymous. You can review or edit your answers before submitting.
What if the feedback is hard to hear?
Different perspectives can bring up feelings. You can pause, leave the page, or return another time. If you both want to talk, a specific example may help. Neither person needs to prove their experience or settle a disagreement here.
Who can start a check-in?
Either partner, a parent or child (including an adult child), a sibling, or a friend can begin. The person starting asks about their own actions; the other person shares how those actions feel. There are no assumed genders, family roles, or right answers. Children should have space to answer freely, without being watched or coached, and can always decline.
Do we have to keep checking in?
No. You can use this once and leave it there. If you both want another check-in later, you can create one. An optional calendar reminder only reminds you; it never contacts the other person.
Is this therapy or a professional service?
No. Better Between Us is a free, self-guided reflection tool. It does not provide therapy, counseling, mediation, clinical assessment, or professional advice. No professional reviews your answers. It does not diagnose, measure relationship health, or promise an outcome.
What if sharing doesn’t feel safe or comfortable?
You do not need to take part or explain why. Answers are shared with the other person after both submit. If you’re worried about pressure or how someone might react, you can leave without submitting. This tool cannot make a conversation safe.
THERE’S NO PERFECT WAY TO BEGIN.
A small step, when you’re ready.
